Aura color quiz
What color is your aura?
Seven quick questions. No sign-up, and your answers stay on your screen.
A free Saturday opens up. What pulls you?
The short answer
Answer seven short questions about how you spend a free day, treat friends and handle stress, and the quiz names your main aura color plus the glow around it. It is a reflective test, not a scan, and the same answers always give the same color. Your top three scores show how it was reached.

How does the aura color quiz work?
Every question has four or five answers, and every answer is worth points toward two colors: two points for the color it fits best and one point for a neighbor. After the seventh question, the quiz adds the points up. The color with the most points is your main color, and the runner-up is the glow around its edge. Your result card shows your top three colors with their points, so you can see how close the call was.
Ties happen, since about a third of answer combinations end level. The quiz settles them by fixed rules and not by a coin: the color with more two-point answers wins, and if that is level too, the color fed by your most recent answer wins. No color is favored by where it sits in a list. We counted every possible set of answers, 25,600 of them, and each of the ten colors is the main color on roughly one path in ten, none below 8% or above 12%.
That plainness is deliberate. A quiz that rolls dice and then tells you something deep is only theater. This one follows fixed, simple scoring rules, so the same answers always give the same color, and you can decide for yourself whether the result fits.
Which colors can the quiz give you?
The quiz can land on ten colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple, pink, white and gold. Black and rainbow are left out on purpose. Black describes a state, such as exhaustion or a protective wall, and a short quiz should not put that label on anyone. Rainbow describes a blend of many colors, which is exactly what a main color plus a glow already shows.
- Warm colors (red, orange, yellow) tend to follow action, company and ideas.
- Cool colors (green, blue, indigo) tend to follow care, honesty and inner life.
- Soft and bright colors (purple, pink, white, gold) tend to follow vision, tenderness, clarity and purpose.

See my chartHow to read your aura quiz result
Your result card shows the main color, three words that describe it, one line about how it tends to show up, and two short notes: how the color looks at its clearest and how it looks when strained. Read the strained note too. It is usually the more useful half, because it names the pattern you fall into when you are tired.
Below the card, the three bars show how the points fell. A main color that wins by a wide margin is a clear read. A narrow win means two colors fit you almost equally, and reading about both is a better use of ten minutes than arguing with the order. Each color's long guide explains the meaning, the personality, how the color shows up in love and work, and what to do when it is out of balance.
What each quiz result says in one line
Here is the short version of every result, so you can see what the other colors would have said about you. A main color that reads like a stranger is worth a retake, answering for the week you are actually having.
- Red: you move first and other people feel you arrive.
- Orange: you make a room warmer and turn plans into evenings.
- Yellow: you think fast, joke easily and collect ideas.
- Green: you steady people, often before they ask.
- Blue: you tell the truth in a way people can hear.
- Indigo: you notice what is not being said.
- Purple: you look for what things could become.
- Pink: you lead with tenderness and make it safe to be soft.
- White: you need space and simplicity to think clearly.
- Gold: people bring you their problems because you hold steady.
Why might your aura test result change?
Because you do. A quiz taken on a calm Sunday can give a different answer than one taken in the middle of a stressful week, and that is a feature. Aura traditions treat the color as a state that shifts with mood and health, with a steadier core underneath. If your results keep landing on the same color, that is probably your core. If they swing, notice what your life looked like each time.
Answer for how you actually are, not for the color you would like. Nobody is judging the result, and the point of an honest answer is that it can tell you something you did not already know.
Is an online aura test accurate?
An aura test cannot be accurate in the way a thermometer is, because no one has shown that an aura can be measured. What it can be is consistent and honest. Consistent means the same answers always give the same color, which is not true of quizzes that shuffle a random result. Honest means you can see how the answer was reached, which is why your top three scores sit under the card.
The most useful way to test any online aura quiz is to check it against people who know you. Show the result to a close friend and ask whether it fits. If they laugh and say it is exactly you, the quiz did its job. If they frown, read the runner-up color, which is often the one they would have picked.
Can I check my aura color with my phone or a camera?
Not in the way the apps suggest. A phone camera records visible light, and an aura, if it exists, has never shown up in visible light or any other band a sensor can read. Aura camera apps place a colored glow around your face in the photo, and the color comes from the app's own rules, your answers, or chance. The studio aura cameras sold to shops and fairs work differently: they read the temperature and skin conductance of your hand through metal plates and paint a matching color over a photo. That is a real measurement of your skin, translated into a color by the maker's chart.
Both can be fun, and both are interpretations rather than pictures of an energy field. If you want a free answer you can check, a scored quiz with open rules is the more honest tool, because it tells you exactly how it got there. Our quiz does, and it never asks for your camera.

See my chartQuestions people ask
How accurate is the aura quiz?
It is not a measurement, because no instrument detects an aura. It is a structured self-portrait: your answers are scored with fixed, simple rules, so the result reflects how you described yourself. If it feels true, that is the useful part.
What color is my aura, for free?
Take the quiz on this page. It is free, needs no email or sign-up, and names your main aura color, the glow around it and your top three scores in about a minute, with what your color looks like at its clearest and when it is strained.
Are my quiz answers saved anywhere?
No. The quiz runs in your browser, and your answers are never sent or stored. Close the tab and they are gone.
Why did I get a different color the second time?
Your mood, energy and the week you are having all shape how you answer, and aura traditions say the color moves with them. A different result usually means something in your life shifted, which is worth a look.
Can I share my aura quiz result?
Yes. The result card has a share button that sends your color and a link with your phone's share sheet, or copies the text if sharing is not available on your device.
Why are black and rainbow not quiz results?
Black describes a state such as exhaustion or a protective wall, and a seven-question quiz should not label anyone with it. Rainbow is a blend, which a main color plus a glow already shows. Both are in the chart in our aura colors guide if you want to read about them.
