Want the whole dream read?

Symbols are the dictionary. Your reading puts them together: what the dream is saying about your life right now, and what keeps coming back.

Your dream stays private. It is never shown to anyone else.

The short answer

Dream interpretation AI reads the dream you describe, picks out its symbols, people and feelings, and connects them to known dream meanings and to your life. Ours finds the symbols on your device as soon as you finish speaking or typing. The full reading of the dream as a whole comes with the Soulether membership.

What does my dream mean? Start by telling it

Most people arrive here with one dream that will not leave them alone. You do not need to know anything about dream symbols to use the recorder above. Tell the dream the way you would tell a friend over coffee, as much as you remember, in whatever order it comes back. Tap the microphone and speak, or type it out. When you finish, the interpreter shows you the symbols it found: the animals, people, places, objects and events that carry a known meaning.

Seeing the symbols named is often the first useful moment. A dream that felt like a tangle becomes a short list: a house, a flood, your sister, a locked door. Each one links to its own page in our dream dictionary, so you can read what it tends to mean straight away. The reading of the whole dream, how those symbols work together and what they say about your life now, is what the membership adds.

How to describe a dream so it can be read well

A dream analysis is only as good as the description it gets. You do not have to write beautifully, but a few habits make a big difference, whether a person or an AI is reading it.

  • Tell it soon. Dreams fade fast, so describe it within the first minutes of waking if you can, before your phone and your day crowd it out.
  • Use the present tense. Saying "I am standing in my old school" pulls more detail back than "I was at school".
  • Name the feeling, even if it does not fit the story. Feeling calm while a house burns is a clue, not a mistake.
  • Keep the odd details. A clock with no hands, a dog that speaks, a stranger wearing your coat: the strange parts often carry the meaning.
  • Say who the people were, and what they are like in waking life. A dream about your boss reads differently if you admire them or dread them.
  • Mention how it ended, or that it did not. A dream that breaks off at the worst moment is telling you something too.
  • Add what is going on in your life, if you are happy to. A move, a breakup, an exam or a new job changes what almost every symbol means.

What an AI dream interpreter can and cannot do

An AI dream interpreter is good at the parts of dream analysis that take patience and a big memory. It can spot every symbol in a long, rambling dream without missing the small ones. It knows the common meanings of thousands of images and the major ways of reading them, from Jung's archetypes to the continuity idea that dreams replay waking concerns. It can notice that the water, the boat and the drowning stranger belong together, and that the feeling you described does not match the scene. Over many dreams, it can track symbols that keep coming back long after you have forgotten the earlier nights.

What it cannot do is know your life better than you do. It cannot tell you the future, because dreams do not foretell it, and it cannot diagnose anything, because a dream is not a medical test. It also cannot know that the yellow car is the one your father drove unless you say so. Treat any dream decoder, ours included, as a well-read companion offering a reading to test against your own sense of what fits. The best interpretations end with you recognizing something, not with you being told.

How our dream interpreter works

The recorder on this page does two different jobs, and we want to be clear about which is which.

  1. You tell the dream. Speak it or type it, as long or as short as you like.
  2. Your device finds the symbols. The interpreter compares your words against our dream dictionary right there on your phone or computer and shows you each symbol it recognizes, with a link to its meaning.
  3. You see what is in your dream. That list is yours to read and explore for as long as you like.
  4. The membership reads the whole dream. Soulether members get the dream read in full: every symbol, how they connect, and what the dream says about your life right now, read with your birth chart.
  5. Your dream journal grows. Members' dreams are kept in a private journal that spots the symbols you dream about again and again.

Your dream stays private

Dreams are about as personal as anything gets, so the recorder is built to keep them that way. Finding the symbols happens on your device, and nothing is posted anywhere or shown to anyone else. When you save a dream to have it read, it is stored privately with your account and is used only to read it for you. We never quote your dream back in an email, because an inbox is no place for it, and we never share it.

Which dreams are worth putting through a dream interpreter?

Any dream you keep thinking about is worth telling. The ones that tend to give the richest readings are dreams that left a strong feeling, recurring dreams that return with small changes, dreams about people who matter to you, and the common dreams like falling, being chased or losing teeth, which almost everyone has and almost nobody reads closely. A short fragment is worth telling too: a single image can still name the symbol on your mind. If you would rather work through a dream by hand first, our guide to dream interpretation walks through the steps.

Questions people ask

It is accurate at finding symbols and explaining what they commonly mean, which is the part most people get stuck on. Whether a reading is right for you depends on how well it matches your life, so the more context you give about the people and situations in the dream, the more the reading will ring true.

No. A fragment works. Many readings start from one image, such as a snake on the stairs or a phone that will not dial. Describe what you have, include how it felt, and the interpreter will name the symbols in it. Details often come back while you are telling it.

Yes. Tap the microphone and tell it out loud, the way you would describe it to a friend. Speaking is often faster just after waking, when typing feels like too much and the dream is still close.

Seeing the symbols in your dream costs nothing. The full reading of the dream, with what the symbols mean together in your life right now, plus your private dream journal, comes with the Soulether membership. You can see the price before you decide.

Only you. Symbols are found on your own device, a saved dream is kept privately with your account, and it is used only to read it for you. We do not publish dreams, share them, or repeat them back to you in emails.
