Find the center of your chart and look down and to the right. Two rays meet the center there: the bottom ray, which carries your karmic tail, and the right ray, which carries your material karma. The inner point of the bottom ray is J. The inner point of the right ray is N. A short line joins them, and its midpoint is L.
